I received an AA degree art from El Camino College, and a Bachelor of Fine arts degree in Painting and Drawing from California State University Fullerton, graduation with honors in 1999.

 

My interest in art started at a very young age. Unaware of my dyslexia as a child, My struggle with words lead me to find comfort in the visual. Growing up nature played an important role in my life. My mother was the only child of an avid outdoorsman and learned from her father the beauty of nature. In turn, my Grandfather passed this same love to me while we spent many hours together in the woods of Northern Michigan. This instilled in me an understanding and respect for all living things.
